Foundations of Miniature Painting

The goal of this class is to help painters learn to walk before they run. Many hobbyists dive into advanced techniques without first mastering the essential application of paint to a model.

In this recurring class, we will cover:

  • Basic color theory and selection

  • Basecoating, layering, and glazing techniques

  • Understanding simple volumes, light, and highlights

  • ...and several other core topics to provide a solid foundation for your future projects.
