Spooky Time


Get Ready for the 9th GUNNZO Plastic Tactics Contest!

 




This time, the theme is “Spooky Time.” Whether you paint creepy creatures, haunted heroes, sinister villains, ghostly spirits, or pumpkins with personality, we want to see your most frightfully fun creations.


From subtle autumn vibes, day of the dead celebration,  to full-on nightmares, all spooky interpretations are welcome. So brew up some paint magic, embrace the Halloween spirit, and show us what lurks in your imagination. The most hauntingly impressive entry will earn spooky bragging rights—and, of course, first-place honors!


Happy painting... and don't be afraid to get a little spooky!


This will be open to both Gunpla and Warhammer models (minimum 32mm based models if they’re by themselves).

  • Registration Deadline: October 21st

  • Mon / Wed / Thu / Fri: 1pm - 7pm
  • Sat: 12pm - 7pm
  • Sun: 12pm - 5pm

For Tuesdays, you must make an appointment to drop off. 

- Judging: October 26th-November 8th

- Winners announcement: November 9, 2026


⭐︎Submission Location:

⭐︎Required Models:


Any model from Gunpla, Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, or Warhammer Kill Team. You do not have to buy a new model from the shop in order to compete.



⭐︎Build Requirements:


All entries must already be completely built at the time of submission. Entrants will be unable to make any additions or alterations once submitted. For Warhammer models, you may kitbash your model if you’d like, as long as it’s from Warhammer pieces. No 3D printed pieces allowed for Gunpla nor Warhammer.


*Painting Rules:

Models must be submitted fully painted and based. Once submitted, entrants will not be permitted to take out entry to alter.

Once winners are announced, we will communicate with entrants to come pick up their models, if they do not wish for them to be on display until November 30th.


You must include the following details for your submission:

  • Your name (First and Last)
  • Email Address
  • Mailing Address
  • Name of your piece

Judging will be done through public voting between October 26th and November 8th.
